Career Experience
My education background is focused on chemistry with a strong foundation of organic and analytical chemistry. During my undergraduate and graduate studies, I developed a passion to show other students how fun and exciting chemistry/science can be. I began tutoring students in chemistry as an undergraduate student and continued through some on my graduate studies. I tutored students with various academic backgrounds and levels of science and math. I have applied my chemistry and science background in the field as a Food Safety Specialist/Food Inspector. I performed inspections for food/tattoo/public swimming pool establishments and provided education to those operators, focusing on protecting public health
I Love Tutoring Because
I have always had a deep passion for teaching and tutoring students in chemistry. Science and chemistry can be difficult subjects to understand. I enjoy showing students that chemistry is not scary and can be fun! Either through one-on-one sessions or in groups, I love to work with students through problems, concepts, math, or labs. It is amazing to help students that are struggling in chemistry or science have that 鈥渁h-ha鈥 or 鈥渓ightbulb鈥 moment of understanding. My goal is to help students succeed in Chemistry, build their self-confidence in the subject and show them the wonders of science.
