Career Experience
I worked for 3 years as a college English tutor, helping students through every/any part of the writing process. I helped train other tutors on how to guide students through brainstorming, thesis creation, outlining, writing, and editing a paper. During this time I also served as the president of my college's English Club and writer's group, where I worked with writers of all genres and helped community members achieve their goals. Before that, as a high-schooler, I spent time as a volunteer tutor for a community after-school homework program.
I Love Tutoring Because
I love learning, and I love helping to make learning and education more accessible and understandable for others. My goal is to guide every student I meet to success, as well as share strategies I've learned so that students can become more confident and independent.
