Career Experience
I am a high school English and Reading teacher with classroom experience teaching 10th grade students. My work focuses on helping learners strengthen reading comprehension, writing, and grammar skills while preparing for major assessments like the FAST, PSAT, and ACT. I create engaging, lessons that build confidence, critical thinking, and literacy fluency for diverse learners, including ESOL and ESE students. My teaching style emphasizes structure, creativity, and real-world connections to make reading meaningful and relevant for every student.
I Love Tutoring Because
it allows me to make a direct impact on students’ confidence and growth. There’s nothing more rewarding than watching a student go from feeling unsure about their reading or writing skills to mastering a concept and feeling proud of their progress. Tutoring gives me the opportunity to meet students where they are, personalize learning to their needs, and celebrate every success big or small. It’s a chance to help learners see that they can do it, and that learning can actually be enjoyable and empowering.
